Looking to put some lower sleeker mirrors on 07 Speedmaster. Anyone got any suggestions for a straight swap. Don't want to alter any of the handle bar mounts. New bonneville america don't have any on offer.

As far as I know the only straight swap are the Yamaha v-max mirrors and you have to unscrew from the back of the mirrors. Fast Eddy sells them and they look pretty darn good. You can get adapters from MA's cycle and use Harley type mirrors.

Pretty much any 14mm metric mirror (? that may not be the right size - but a 14mm wrench takes them off!) should screw right onto the stock stems. My wife's Magna mirrors fit as do the V-max ones I have.
Go to the bike shops and look at them and see if they are what you like, then just look at the size of the threads and you should be set.

A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice. Pat

I have some Hardley Nighttrain mirrors on my bike. You have to get a little creative when mounting them, but they are great- very low profile, but still useful.

One catch- don't tell your bike they came off a Hardley. I made that mistake and she wouldn't start for a week. We have gone through counseling, and our relationship is improving....

Learning from my mistakes... again and again.

Looked at MA's site and couldn't find them, but I'm probably just being dense. What adapter would that be?
