I used to live in LoDo and moved out of LoDo for a variety of reasons, one being the obnoxious, "look at me" bikers who rode by throttling their scooters so loud the flippin windows shook. These folks are responsible for this ordinance, not the city of Denver. I should also mention that this issue has been discussed with numerous pleas to the hotshots to tone it down over the last five years, to no avail.
Because of these hotshots, now we got a bunch of suits making rules with significant and negative unintentional consequences for all of us.
