You are right about the underside of the arms. Good point about the protection. I don't know how Tourmaster and Joe Rocket figured it out, but they managed to perf the entire sleeve or so it seems. I guess it is a trade off. For instance, I don't wear the full face in the Summer unless touring for fear that it might melt to my head.
