I can totally relate. I was such a Harley nut for years that I collected anything that remotely had anything to do with Harleys. I still have cartons of stuff from those days. I have a "Live To Ride" tattoo and a chain tattoo with the Harley emblem in the middle. I thought anyone that rode anything but a HD was not a true biker, etc., etc.

I now find these people to be quite amusing. Here in Florida where we have no helmet law (and I support the right to choose), I cannot remember the last time I witnessed either a Harley rider or his biitch wearing a helmet. In the past year, we have had more than a few Harley fatalaties in this particular area.
Of course the TRUE YUPPIE these days rides an (alleged) chopper - a ride that is much more commonplace around here than the work of art that we know as the Bonny.
