since the bill banning protesters at funerals was signed, by governor Jodi Rell, two days ago; members of the Westboro Baptist Church did not have a presence at this funeral.
there were, however; 140 Patriot Guard Riders on motorcycles and a good number of PGR in cars/trucks/vans.
it was an incredible experience. i have not gotten all of my thoughts and all of the images sorted out yet.
certainly not enough to write about it, the way i would like to. i will say, i have never been as moved, by the sight of the US flag, as i was today.
