I'll go with what pipedr says with one exception. I do believe in premium fuel, especially Amoco. Here in the States, most gas companies share the same fuel refineries, that is, they get their fuel from the same place.
Chevron may add Techron to the fuel they get, or Techron maybe some fancy name for a cleaning agent already in the fuel from the refinery, I'm not sure.
Amoco does not share fuel with anyone, and Amoco Premium is totally clear, not the color of light beer. I figure it's gotta be burning cleaner, therefore better for the fuel pump, valves, etc.
I drove an MG for 5 years, and over timre, replaced ****** near everything on it, except the fuel pump. It had the original fuel pump on it the day I sold it, again, I always used Amoco Premium. Come to think of it, I've never had a fuel related repair (except worn carbs and a bad hose once) on any vehicle I've ever owned.
It cost a few pennies more a gallon, but in a bike, you'll never miss the extra money, and if you run cleaner, it will more than pay for itself in the end with lower maintenance and repair costs.
