Does anyone have theses pipes from Newspeedmaster ?? I'm looking into getting some pipes. I tried Loco's Short TORs , and the pitch gave me a headache. {literally} I have some stock pipes on now, but am looking for something that's not REAL loud but a bit deeper than the stock. The Spectre have the same pitch as the Short TORs so I'm staying away from those.

When I bought my bike I asked the dealer to put after market pipes on it. He used D&D's. They were not my cup of tea. Loud and have a distinct blap/crack sound. They have an authentic Triumph sound. I like a deeper tone that is a little moew mellow. I'm a fan of BUBs.

If they aren't it will be the first set of D&Ds I have ever heard on ANY bike that weren't!!

I'm resurrecting and appropriating this thread because I can't get my D&Ds mounted up. They won't slip far enough over the header pipes so that I can bolt them to the rear support. I'm reassembling my bike after replacing bent valves so I just put my short TORs back on instead.

Any ideas? Is this common with D&Ds? I got them used off evilBay so I can't exactly go b!tch at Brent.

You know, mine barely fit, too. You might call David of D&D. he owns the joint. They are here in Ft. Worth. He seems to be a nice guy and really does know his stuff. He might be able to help. Tech Support 817-834-0996

Mine were a little tight too, took some help to fit them, but they sure don't leak, and after two years I really like 'em....

My '03 has D&D pipes, left from the dealership new with them. They sounded great then, and still look and sound great after 18k.
