i have 2 old kaws and they're famous for gummed up carbs, 4 of them. before i used mmo, it was ar least 2 tankfulls of gas before my ltd 1000 stopped sputtering every spring. last year i added mmo instead of stabil and had no sputtering.
i don't think they have much influence on carbon build up though. it's hard to get that stuff off w/ the head off.
