Just wondering if anyone has replaced the original speedo on a speedmaster with an alternative that fits in the tacho hole on the tank.

can you put a yellow box (corrects the speedo to read actual MPH). It take the digtial siganl and modifies it. I had one on my sport bike. You dial in the % correction.

Here is another option for those that just want to make the original speedo less obstrusive. Speedo Relo This mod tucks the speedo down further behind the headlamp. Steven

I just looked at Dakota Digital site, it says that unit has a "Easy push button calibration"....does this mean you can adjust the speedo to an accurate reading ?

yes. i believe mine is dead on using several "mile marker" tests.
