Just use any sissybar pad. I got one the first time from a motorcycle junkyard for $10, and had two horizontally spaced, recessed nuts for mounting to a sissybar. Later I had a local rod & custom shop redo the leather cover for about $40. There is another aluminum crosspiece behind the backrest pad to secure it to the vertical "L" brace, and it is covered/hidden by a zippered black "pipe tobacco pouch" bought at Walmart for about $4.
