My standard set of tyres / tires lasted around 8,000 miles.

I expect to have approx 16,000 miles before I set out for Spain next month so I anticipate having to have a new set fitted before I go

Add that to 16,000 mile service and, no doubt, new brake pads.
I'm looking at the best part of £500 ($800+) for that service
