So here it is. My newly made number plate holder and a new rear light. I've been thinking a lot what to do with the rear end (on the bike that is) without cutting it, and this is the result. Since I always have my bags attached I changed back to using the built-in turn signals instead of having them as driving lights. Retro looking, right?
I made the bracket out of 2 mm aluminum. After painting it flat black I gave it a thin edge molding. The old number plate bracket is still there holding the upper part. The light is a Lucas replica used by Triumph and BSA 1964-1972 AFAIK.
