Everyone has given you valuable advice as to how to adjust your light. The only suggestion I would add is get a xenon bulb. I got mine from Brent at www.newspeedmaster.com and can really tell a difference. The wife likes it too, because it makes me more visible to others on the road.

Any landing you can walk away from is a good one.
