Is this the hole in the bottom of the airbox and single K&N drop-in mod, or the
gutted airbox with K&N pods? Not sure what you mean by cutting out the restrictor plate?
I originally ran with the hole in bottom mod and K&N drop-in. With TOR longs 132/42 with 1.5 shims was plenty. Anything beyond that was too rich at my altitude.
I have since gutted the airbox and use the pod filters with 150/42 and 1.5 shims and Thunderbikes. I'm happy with this current setup.
