I just wanted to publicly acknowledge what an incredible community this site is. Owning a Triumph has been an incredible experience to say the least, but it has been the people that I have met since then that have truly made this a life affirming experience. The wealth of information that is freely and willfully given within this site has been both a joy and a lifesaver on so many levels and I wanted to just give my humble thanks to all. I especially want to acknowledge both “The Dog33†and “eddy1016†for their 1 on 1 help with a recent project. Finally I will never be able to fully express what “mikesr†has done for me. He has gone above and beyond to assist me, and we have never met. No where have I ever heard of a group of individuals so motivated to help essentially strangers so selfishly and I am more than proud to be associated with this community. I cannot wait to continue making new contacts and friends and I hope to see you all out there on the open road.

Andrew, you need to see if you can join us for the Ouachita Mountain ba.com rally in September. Several from TX and OK are going to meet up.

Andrew and Paul, I agree totaly. This is a great forum with really helpful people. Hey, I am a fellow Oklahoman too in OKC. I'm thinking of trying to make the Ouachita Mtn. BA.com rally. (*that is, if my rump and back can take the trip!) I'm new here and just got an '03 Speedmaster a few weeks ago.  TC, Bob

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Andrew and Bob, I've made some great friends that I never would have met were it not for this site. If you enjoy the folks at this site while online you will really like them when you meet them in person. You really must come to the Ouachitas Rally! We have folks from Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, and your very own Oklahoma already coming, so it should be a good time. We'll have carb balancing party Saturday night, so it'll be a barrell of laughs. Rooms are filling up fast, so make your reservations now!  Nathen

Paul, thank you for the invite to the rally, I would love to attend. Unfortunately, due to my job I never know if I will be available that far in the future and it is looking more and more like I will not be. As September gets nearer I should be able to firm up a yes or no. Any opportunity to meet some fellow Triumph riders I am all over!
