It's definitely better as far as stopping power. A touch grabby, but not so much to cause alarm. I got it mainly to avoid warping issues... So Honestly I don't know if it's the bads or the rotor doing the better stopping, probably the pads mainly. I do still get the buzz under braking that everyone gets, but I think that is inherent to drilled discs. The only caution I would pose is that REMOVING the bolts that hold the rotor on is tough!! Head them up good from the front and back (thru the spokes) to loosen up that locktite. The bolts are 6 bucks a pop if you strip one out! Ask me how I know...
