Well a few people have been bugging me for some sort of write up on my bike "so far". I keep waiting for that next part to come in, etc, and new stuff comes out, so I decided it's NEVER gonna be "done" so here's a few shots as of today. Here's my list of mods, starting at the front, going to the back. Avon Venoms EBC rotor and pads (front and rear) Speed bleeders Speedy front fender, hugged to wheel Progressive front springs Chrome speedo cable holder Braided cables, (speedo, throttle, clutch, brakes) relocated signals (Ma's bracket) with internal wiring thru bars Union Jack black resevoir cover (one of a kind!) JC Whitney mirrors Union Jack bar ends Chrome tank trim Performance oil cooler loud Hella horns foot control bar spaced forward, custom bracket tucking rear brake master cylinder back an inch away from header. Dice choke knob Clutch cable finisher and bracket Hex chrome shift linkage Irridium spark plugs AI removal kit with union jack SS Engine Bolt package SS Controls bolts Heavy duty carb couplers Bella Corse carb brace Krank Vent and engine breather rejetted to 160's and TBS needles, no shims, screws 3.5 out each Freak with modded left side cover to accomodate faux air cleaners Signal minder Corbin with flame stitching Union Jack slotted seat bolt Chrome knurled rear seat bolt Wiring harness for Gerbings heated gloves tucked into vacant mounting hole for left side cover Black speedy rear peg hangers 18T sprocket Custom long Epcos, repainted pipe hangers Grifter and one union jack, one old glory licence plate bolts Also have a corbin pillion, rear luggage rack, and soft bags mounted to EZ brackets. Still looking for a bolt to mount my Bolt Lock. Wishlist: Oil temp and pressure gauges Corbin backrest Bonnie chrome sprocket cover Progressive shocks Pingel Petcock I think that's it.....

That's it? What about the big bore there, slim?

I knew that was coming! I've thought about it... Maybe someday I'll brave it, but probably not this year... Belt drive isn't off my radar yet either, but not officially on "the list".

Well we haven't gone into my list of portable gear MP3 player, heated gloves, 2 jackets, helmets, gloves with a squeegy built into the thumb, garage door opener, disc lock, junction box plate for the kickstand, spare batteries... are we bored yet? lol You know looking at it on here, isn't it funny that just to glance at the bike, it doesn't look like there's THAT long of a list of stuff on it... Kinda stealth

You know I'd probably get a lot of attention at Triumph events too if it weren't for the dern rockets...

Hey Benny,
Sure like the mods you've done. I'd hate to even think about making a list on all I've done...that'd just trigger me into thinking how much I've spent and I don't want to go down that road.
Anyway, I noticed you put on the EBC floating rotor and pads. I don't think I've seen or read a review of that upgrade. Could you give us one? There's an Aussie over on Triumphrat.net with a BA who's interested.

Hey Sal, be happy to. I'll have to go over to Trat and give the review there too. It's definitely better as far as stopping power. A touch grabby, but not so much to cause alarm. I got it mainly to avoid warping issues... So Honestly I don't know if it's the bads or the rotor doing the better stopping, probably the pads mainly. I do still get the buzz under braking that everyone gets, but I think that is inherent to drilled discs. The only caution I would pose is that REMOVING the bolts that hold the rotor on is tough!! Head them up good from the front and back (thru the spokes) to loosen up that locktite. The bolts are 6 bucks a pop if you strip one out! Ask me how I know...

Thanks FC. Hey will you be up at the NE RAT raid in Stowe in August? Would be nice to have someone to talk to while everyone else talks about the Rocket.... You know two years ago my bike would be the cats balls anywhere I went, any Triumph event. Now those dern rockets get all the attention...
