I work in DC on a regular basis where the motto on the license plates is "Taxation Without Representation".
I thought that was a bad thing. Why flaunt it on their plates? Hidden meaning perhaps?

I think that motto is there to protest the fact that the District of Colombia, is not a part of any state,
And since it has no elected representitves in congress of its own, and DC residents are requiered to pay federal income tax, they are indeed being Taxed without represetation.

(I see I need to invest in a spell checker)

The percentage you're paying is too high-priced While you're living beyond all your means And the man in the suit has just bought a new car From the profit he's made on your dreams
