I agree with a lot you said, Larry. BUT...it's STILL the PARENTS responsibility to make sure that their "little darlings" are learning what they're supposed to. And as always, if one is born to highly or even somewhat moderately educated and somewhat successful parents, then one's chances are natually going to be higher for success in this regard. The locally financed tax base school system that most states operate today will most assuredly insure that this cycle will continue ad infinitum.

(and BTW, you're right again...I've ALWAYS felt pretty good about myself...but then again, I've always felt I was pretty lucky have to the PARENTS that I did...I "picked 'em" ya know...I was adopted)
