I agree with ya, Larry.

In fact, do you know how much money some school districts in the state of Kansas alone have saved by not teaching that darwinian crap to their kids?

(ya know, I never get tired of tweeking the noses of some of the 'Heartlanders')

ACTUALLY, you ARE right, Larry. You can throw money all the money you want at schools in the disadvantaged areas in this country, but UNTIL the under-educated PARENTS of these kids REALIZE that there's WORTH in getting an education, and they SUPPORT and PROD their prodigy towards that goal, AND those who are better off and more established financially who live in areas with a higher local TAX BASE that naturally have MORE funds to support their local schools SHARE a bit of their funding with those having a lower tax base, THEN maybe a few more of those kids (but of course not every kid) in those lower income areas might have a little better chance to "not be left behind". I know if I was a teacher and had my choice between teaching in wealthier or poorer neighborhoods, I'd sure as heck pick the former, unless there were some finanical incentives offered to sway me to the latter.

But there's that word again...."sharing". Gee! That has connotations of "Communism"(or maybe even "Christianity") doesn't it?!

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
