I live around 8 miles from the state of Delaware. No sales tax in Delaware, 6% in PA - 7% in Philadelphia county (the city is the county). Everything I can, I buy in Delaware. Most importantly - liquor and beer. The state-run system here in PA is a joke. Lousy selection, high prices and you have to go to separate places to buy wine/liquor (the state) and beer (private enterprise). I feel sorry for those who are stuck in the middle of Pennsylvania.
