Now I know you are being funny! Those 'few bolts' are what holds the backbone to the downtubes and the front engine mount!! I haven't measured the 'tangs' but they are probably 3/16". Not shabby at all.

I've seen hd bars on a road king. They are certainly massive. They have to be considering the weight of those behemoths.
