Curious. When my dealer replaced the warped front rotor under warranty, they said I was going to have to pay for new pads as they could not reinstall the old ones (something about a part that wears, warped rotor and worn pads, something). They recommended an upgrade EBC pad. They didn't say the stockers were worthless, but they couldn't very well say that now could they! As soon as I got the machine home I replaced the rear with EBCs. That should have absolutely no effect on the warranty.
