I've had my Corbin Gunfighter for about three weeks now. It seemed a bit hard at first, but I've now put about 450 miles on it, and it really seems to be conforming nicely to my backside. I think it's like a nice high end horse saddle that you have to break in before it starts getting comfortable - and it has to me. It's MUCH more supportive than the foam stock saddle, and I feel more part of the bike when I ride.

One change that I would make if I had it to do over would be to NOT order the saddle just like the one on the Corbin website. The black faux alligator and the faux ostrich are okay, but the faux snake just makes it a bit too "busy." I would go with plain black leather with a coordinating color welt around the main saddle that matched my tank color OR I'd extend the ostrich back on the passenger area of the saddle. I'm considering dyeing the snake black to tone it down a bit. Finally, I would ask them not to put provisions for a back rest in. Corbin will try to talk you out of this change, but the flap covering the hole for an optional backrest detracts from an otherwise clean design, and I have absolutely no intention of installing a back rest.

Corbin also seems to have tightened up their customer service, and I've no complaints at all with them. Fit finish and quality are excellent.

I would recommend this saddle without reservations (other than my choice of materials.)

Hope this helped you in your decision.
