John took me on a flatland tour of Essex County, Ontario today. lots of long straight roads; so when we came upon
curves i was most psyched to get my lean on.

very cool to ride along the Detroit River and look across to see, well, Detroit.
sort of makes the whole world seem so much smaller to me; in an
objectsintherearviewmirrorarecloserthantheyappear sort of way.

we're trying to be patient as we wait for Stewart, Jen and Keith to arrive.

notice i said trying.

gotta run. my host is cooking dinner and i should probably try to make myself useful.

PS:

we're having fun...are you

OK, I just got home from my last trip. If I leave RIGHT NOW I could probably make it to Wojo's late Sunday night but then I'd have to leave on Tues morning so I can be at home to catch a plane for my next trip on Thurs.

We went for another flat-land tour today and at the halfway point met up with BikerT. He's here with the other and they are sitting around insulting me while I make their food. mmuuuhahahahaha

I wish I could but I've got too much stuff to do at home while I have a few days off. Being on the road 90+% of the time means that I have little time at home to take care of stuff I can't do while I'm on the road. Besides my folks want me to come up to their place since they haven't seen me in about 2 months. Believe me, I want to be there but I don't have the time to do it. Columbia to Windsor is only 760+ miles, I could easily do that in a 2 day trip sometime, just not now.

another great day in wojo'ville, yesterday. awesome company, great weather and we got to do some curves. most smile-istic.

coffee is on, we're about to wake up Sir Snoresalot, pack the bikes, check our tires and head across the border.

spoke to the yutes in New Hampshire last night. they're having a great time--good reports all the way around.
Lake Superior, Sweden, New Hampshire, Texas to Florida via Dahlonega...who's got it better than us?
we'll talk to y'all in a few days...

Instead of going to work at 6:30 Monday morning, I'm going north to wander aimlessly around a big lake...

Meeting Eddy in Duluth and hopefully the rest of the crew in Ontario....

Got home last night safe and sound, dodged some rough weather coming through. Lots of firsts on this trip. It was great meeting and seeing everyone. "BF" John was an awesome host, even if Keith did have to help him with the cooking. The tour through Wojoland was good, even if it was a little flat and mostly straight. Nice ride by the water. Did I mention how flat and straight it was?

Hey all! We are in Schreiber, Ontario tonight and we have met up with Eddy and Loco. We are now sitting in a bar and "relaxing" (i.e. drinking) for the night.

Tomorrow it's to Thunder Bay for the day.

The scenery so far has been amazing and we got some great photos to share.

Had 3 days of fantastic riding and relaxation. Got home a few hours ago. Left Keith, Shari, John and Eddy in Duluth and I assume by now that Eddy parted company in Wisconsin, leaving the 3 amigos to travel east thru WI and MI.....

This is really a good concept for a ride cause the route is basically set and you just make cool stuff happen along the way.....

Can't imagine a better group to spend time with and look forward to the next. The wave is alive and well and is leaving a permanent mark on Lake Superior! I'll let someone else finish that story....

Today we got to tour Eddy's work, including his other "ride" - very cool!

Got lot's of photos, but just one for now:

That's Shari and John on Palisade Head in Northern Minnesota...Eddy has done some amazing things here...
