Today I confirmed that 2006-2007 Honda 750 shocks fit our bikes. They are 11.5" and full chrome shrouded so they lower it about 2" when sitting on the bike. I'm bidding on a pair on ebay now. I'll report on them after installation and a few hundred miles...

Did we sort out whether they're long enough to stop the bike bottoming out? If not, let us know how they go - enquiring minds etc...

I'm in transistion from a 99 Honda 750 ACE to my new-to-me 04 TBA right now. Both are sitting in my shop and I have to say I really prefer the TBA's suspension (and awesome horesepower) over the Honda. The Honda shocks are prettier, though...
