I recently installed the Progressive 440 shocks and have been playing around with preload settings. 1up I found no preload to be way too soft. I am currently trying the shocks at setting 2 (second indicator showing). I am curious what settings other riders that have some time on these shocks have settled with?

I think I'm on like 2.5ish. Need the extra stiffness what with the drag from my skirt...

Thanks all for the input! Think I'll stay where I'm at. The Progressive Fork springs have virtually removed any front brake dive as well.

I think I need to up my fork fluid a notch or two also, even with the springs. A while ago, in one of the many suspension threads, someone mentioned balance. Dialing in the rear is great, but dialing it in to match the front is key, and vice versa.
