OK guys, listen up. I need help. I've decided that with summer being right around the corner and my schedule being as hectic as it is AND with the closest dealer being 4 1/2 hours away, i can't wait any longer to get the break-in oil OUT and some performance oil IN.... Just gonna have to do it myself.
so, I've downloaded the pdf from Triumph listing the things to check on but I had a few questions before I got this kicked off.
I'm gonna go with the Amsol Oil from eddy and probably a K&N filter, is there anything else I need to make sure i do while doing the oil change? Since it's the first one on the bike, I want to make sure I do what is "mandatory" after the break-in period.
I should mention that 500 miles is recommended for break-in and right now i'm sitting on 800 miles. You triumph mechanics get your typing fingers ready and help a brother out.... cause I just can't make that 4 1/2 hour trip at this time and can't stand to let the bike sit and collect dust.
