I was talking to a friend at work today telling him that soon I was going to get some new exhaust and was going to rejet and rebalance my carbs. Asking what I was going to use to balance the carbs I told him about the homemade ones that alott use here. He told me that he be back in about 5 minutes and brought me a pair of vacuum gauges. So here is what I have hope someone can tell me if I can use it. Its is made by the Wika instrument corp. On the box its says type 232.54 4" range 30 inhg vac and cnnn: 1/4" npt im. On the top of the vacuum gauge there is a rubber with a small plastic like switch that can be set in open or close position. I know that I will have to get a fitting and some hose and possible some type of dampen system for it. Before I get these parts I would like some input on whether this gauge will work or not? I know the gauge is of industrial quality but not sure if I may need something different or can I modify for use to balance my carbs. Thanks
