It's October 18-21. I've never been there, so can't help you there.

The dates are Oct. 18 - 21. Whether it's as good as Bike Week is relative as Bike Week is a zoo. Biketoberfest is just a smaller zoo! Traffice jams clog most major roads in and out and only if you have someone with local knowledge, can these can be avoided (thanks Ryan!!)

On the bright side, if you have never been it is absolutely a must see. Some of us get together there most every year....

Here's a couple of threads from this year's Bike Week:

I actually like it better than Bike Week. It has the same vendors, same activities, seemingly the same everything, but with smaller crowds which means it is easy to find a parking space for your bike on Main St.

Sooo, where are you coming from? (It helps if you fill out your bio, so we can see where you are). Yes Biketoberfest is less of a zoo...weather is usually better than Bike Week, and doesn't have the Race Week, Spring Break and other things running back to back so the local folks hospitable attitude has been refreshed.

later, Tom.

But, what do I know?

Officially Biketoberfest starts on the 18th, but you will find most places start the weekend before.

Maybe this time we should have a costume party at our house? That shouldn't be a problem for most of you.

Do you still have that little blue number or did you give it to Jennifer?
