What I carry depends on where I am going and how long I'll be away. Longer road trips require more stuff, short day trips, less stuff. Two things I always carry is the tool kit I picked up from Newspeedmaster.com and a spare clutch cable (experience).
Other essentials are a hat to protect my precious balding head from the scorching sun and a beer cozy.
