Okay I picked up my bike today. All freshly rebuilt under warranty. Yes it took awhile but overall I'm happy with the process. Unfortunately the dealer had already put the broken parts in storage was busy when I got there this morning so I didn't get to take a look. The whole list is out on in the saddlebag. But basically cases, mainbearings, gaskets, starter sprag assm., and igniter (which is brit for CDI right?).
Boy was going from the sprint to the speedy was really weird. It felt like I had ape hangers and was draggin my rear on the pavement. I had forgotten how light the speedy was. She does handle well, and I like not having to worry about every pavement crack and defect sucking me in. I can finally put on my satin tunes and UNI which I got in 2 days after she went into the shop.
