...but still deciding if I like it or not. I think I need to chrome the shrouds too. It's off a 79 or 80 Suzuki GS. I needed four longer bolts & four 3/8" chrome spacers. Thoughts???

I like it. I think it needs a chrome rear fender too.

I like it! Could you be more specific about what GS model Suzuki it came from? Thanks!

Kurt, I'm not crazy about a lot of chrome, but I think the fender looks pretty good on there. It looks like it fits right, and hugs the tire pretty tight. I would have to say BTW, it was good meeting you in Georgia. Will

Personally, I'd go for the chrome shrouds and keep the painted fender. I never cared too much for the SS shrouds or the gray painted covers. Contrast is nice.

Fork gators crossed my mind too. Either that, or I have to chrome the shrouds because I think the brushed finish doesn't work now.

I would if I knew, I actually bought it on ebay to put on a project bike I am working on, if I don't find another one, it will have to come off the Triumph.

The seat was made by a local guy. Stock pan, shaved 1" & gel insert, covered in leather that has an Ostrich texture

Thanks everyone for the input.

Real nicely shaped fender, buy does not go with the rest of your bike. You could chrome everything as others have suggested or paint that fender black.
if life gives you lemons keep them because hey, free lemons.

I don't know about alot more chrome, although I do like chrome. I think that chrome front fender looks great with that paint job the only problem I see and it's not a huge one. Simply a matter of taste is I would want a chrome rear fender to match.Still looks really good as is to me anyway.

I like the shape, but I'll like more with the same color of the rear one.
What about the handlebar? It seems similar to the one on the Speedy but a bit pulled back. Is it comfortable? Is it easy to find on online catalogs?

It is a standard 3.5" T-bar. with 6" risers. Just check in the Harley sections, the diameter is their standard & the same as ours. A company (I dont remember who) makes a stud that is threaded for 1/2" to fit into the bars and theaded metric on the other end. If you get those, you don't have to drill out the triple tree. Riding position is about the same as the Speedy.

They also make those same bars for metric bikes. No drilling or adapter studs needed. J&P Cycles metric catalog. Have to ask a tech about bolt size and spacing as I don't remember what fits our bikes as far as riser spacing and stud dia. J&P Metric

I like it. I agree with the fork gaiters comment. Where did you get the bars?
06 BA, TOR's, 17T front sprocket, 135/42, needles shimmed, AI removed, drilled airbox, K&N air filter, desnorked, SM seat and risers, drag bars, pro-grips....let's ride!!
