Actually I was just talking to Paula about that. We both have Thursday off so we were talking about heading up Thursday after morning rush hour in Boston clears out a bit.

Oh, and by the way, all the weather liar websites are calling for clear skies, sunny and in the high 70s mid 80s for the entire event. Maybe I will just leave my scuba gear home then. Needed it last year.

The doc called today and pushed my appt. back to 2:30 pm thursday. And due to some medical reasons for the first time ever in 16k miles it looks like speedie is riding in the back of the truck for the trip up and back. Looks like check in will be about 11pm.

In my free time, I've been catching handfuls of sunshine and blue sky and tucking them away to bring up to NH, just in case the skies threaten.... Ok, so if it's sunny where you are and you've got pockets-- get busy!

I'll probably get out at 3:00 or 4:00 on Thursday. Let me know. Benny let me know when you will be going I can also wait if you want to hook up. Makes no difference to me as it's probably a little more than an hour from here.

Bike's dead. No spark The NH rally seems to bring out the best in my bike. I'm not happy, after my wife came and got me I stopped and seriously looked at a shovel head today. I'm not impressed with electronic ignition. At least with points I could have fixed it.

The silver lining to the cloud. Bummer, Dill. That's the worst feeling. Let's hope it's an easy fix for you.

Its under warranty still. I'm just sick of the miss work haul it 1 1/2 to the dealer let it sit there for a while get it back to only repeat the process. Also I don't like the fact that if the cdi goes which has been happening to a lot of people your stuck, there is no way to fix it on the side the road. Which is one reason I was glad that the speedy had carbs. I like to be some what self reliant.

I haven't seen a reply to your question of a saturday AM ride time, or did I miss it? I'd like to meet up with everyone, but am limited to a saturday only visit. I've seen the directions to Litchfield, what's the ride time? Or should I plan on meeting at second wind?

Anyone going through CT about 3:30-4:00? I figure 3.5 hrs up, a quick stop at the motel and then over to Robs house. And Dill, that sucks about your bike.

John,
Don't get out of work till 3:00 the earliest. I'll, either hook up with Benny or ride up solo. Not a big deal. See you up there. Where is everyone staying? Still gotta call for a room. Wasn't sure if the wife and her friend were coming. Looks like I'm solo. Brian.

OK I'm back at the PC again....Noticed a few questions
hope I can answer some of them....
Friday for those at Days Inn it's my drive way at 8:30AM...for those comming from MA I would say the Cracker Barrel at NH exit 4 (RT 102) Londonderry (off of RT 93 N) at 9:00 ish would work for you...
We ride to Wolfborough and lunch there then complete the loop and hope to be back around 5 or 6 pm...then your free to dine how you choose for those staying local we may hit one of the local eateries en-mass or we may order pizza in or we may....well you get the point
Saturday...we will meet at my driveway at around 8:30 ish...and head for Second wind via the long way...we should arrive at Second Wind around 11:30 am or so... the plan is to then head to RJ's Dyno Tune (not a required stop) and then your free to explore NH... then meet back at my place around 6:00 pm for a BBQ dinner and such...not forgetting Drive-in Movie night (also at my place)....

Rob,
All packed and Big Poppy had his bath and wax job looking good weather wise.
Really do not care where we are riding just as long as were moving is fine with me.
Are we going to catch any of the coast looking like a fine bikini day Fri and Sat. ??

Weirs Beach on lake Winni could work for the "eye candy"....but the coast....probably not...at least not as a group ride...but there will be directions available to all ...prehaps you could lead a mini ride while we prep the BBQ...
