Commercial...VERY...across from the Phesant lane mall, and a host of other strip malls...but then again Hooters is close by also...(but the Nashua Hooters is hot and cold when it comes to "talent"). The Days Inn in Hudson is MUCH closer and others are staying there...but no Hooters in walking distance

Nashua Hooters is closed.
All of the new england franchise Hooters were owned by the same company. And are sadly gone. Maybe it was the lousy beer and the overpriced wings.

O.k so I tried to make a reservation on line at the Days Inn, but the web page wouldn't load or some cyber crap. So I called the place and the guy on the recorder sounds like he knocked back a few before making his recording (I'm gonna like this place) I select 1 to make a reservation in person and the girl picks up the phone and ask who is this? I'm a little put back cause I've never had a major hotel chain pick up the phone and ask who is this, so I tell her my name and tell her I want to verify or make a reservation. Silence I said hello she says who is this? I ask if this is the days inn she says yes. I ask who is this, silence. I ask if i can make a reservation she says I don't know. I hang up thinking I didn't want to be a buzz kill, I'll call back later when the effects have worn off and try again.

there is a building (used to be a resteraunt) right down the street from me for sale

this towm could use a good old-fashion PUB...or a Chinese Resteraunt...

Charlie the shed could be very comfy couple cots...

Not sure what time I can get out of work that day, and it's about a 3 hour tour for me to even get in your neck of the woods... but yeah I would love to.

Yes, it's a very nice trailer. Thank you again Benny for going out to look at it for me. I put a new tire on it and have new lights going on today. Next week I will register it. I have to build the ramp and rails. Just have to figure out how far foward to mount them.

I don't turn 30 till AFTER the rally, thank you very much. Believe me, if my only problem was turning 30 I'd suck it up and ride everywhere, unfortunately its not...

Matt, that thing is rugged right? I bet it weighs more than you think... How's it ballance?

Less than a month to go ...I need to make some plans for this trip. I've seen the Days Inn and a Super 8 Motel mentioned, as well as tent camping. What is going to be the place to be for this rally?

The primary location is Robs house in Litchfield, so the camping/crashing arrangements are at his place.

Paula, I am thinking of heading up Thursday after work. I get out around 3:00 or 4:00. I believe its only about an hour from here in Worcester.Plenty of time to make it before dark. Benny and I talked a little at the tech day. He was thinking of possibly trying to hook up as he would be heading this way. Maybe some others lets see what this thread brings for responses.

I'm gonna have to play it by hear, but I am A-OK with slabbing it up 395 to Woo-Town and meeting you guys. If I get out of work at noon, I can be on the road at one, catch a 2PM ferry, land at 3:30, be in Worcester 4:30 or so... That[s probably a best case cenerio.

I take off of work Wednesday and don't have to be back till Monday, I drop the dogs off at my friends Wednesday night so I'll be ready to go whenever everyone's ready to ride.

I should be able to go with you Benny. Thats a good time. The trailer weighs about 750lbs. I rewired it today, new lights. Thursday I'm going to the steel dist. to get some steel grate for the ramp. I'm welding the holes in the tube shut tommorrow. I just need to figure out how far foward the rails should go. Anyone? It's a 5 X 8 trailer - the hitch part in front is about 4' long. The tongue weight is about 70 lbs. I should put this in Misc I guess.
