Despite my fondest desire the GA Rally 07 IS over...that brings us to the NH Rally...

the dates this year are Thursday Aug 2nd thru Sunday Aug 5th...details are still being worked out but it looks (roughly) like this....

Thursday Arival day...cook-out, hang-out, drink...

Friday Re-Run last years Ride but THIS YEAR IN THE SUNSHINE!! or perhaps a costal run.

Saturday a Western NH Mountain Run with a dealer stop on the last leg...

Sunday...departure

Details on shirts and patches are still being worked out but they should both be available again this year...

Western NH mountain run?
Guessing it stops at 2nd wind?
Cool.

I just did North Conway and came home Rt 153 surreal on bike. In fact all I saw was fellow 2 wheeled enthusiasts.
Oh and I'm in.

Instead of patches, you should just offer commemorative, leather waterproofing spray.

No. After 30 I grow up and get my own trailer (or truck) rather than mooching

I'm working on it...trying to make some arrangements with my Dance Diva and her Dad....she has a dance intensive that week, locally, and then needs to get to NH on Sunday for her other camp. Wish me luck!

I'm planning to come up for this. That is, if you guys don't mind a moderately-branded, not-really-good-at-posing, non-rich RUB in your midst at the rally.

Seriously, it'll be a long ride up, but I'm already looking forward to it and mapping out some routes. I've never been to NH before either.

Rob-
Where in NH is this spectacular not to be missed event being based? Since I'm trying to beg, cajole, encourage, etc. my daughter's Dad to step in for Thurs- Sunday, I'm thinking of pushing the envelope- hey, a girl needs time with her Dad, how 'bout Sunday- Sunday, don't ya think?- and maybe making a whole week of ME/NH riding if I can arrange it. In for a penny, in for a pound....

I reserve a spot in the "yad", or the shed(if the snow's off it yet!).

Rob, are you gonna start a clever count-down?

It's not going to be Great Bay in North Hampton is it?
I'll have to see if my ban is over, and I am allowed back inside.

I have found them to be a bit paternalistic with what they will perform in the shop. More often than not, they take a 'father knows best' attitude with the bikes and service requests. In fact their service tech turn-over is pretty quick, and I wasn't particularly happy with the new techs this season.

I totally agree Mikey
so what was the ban over, come on you can't lead us on and not give the story.
I agree with your description of their service department. And to add to it. I get the feeling this dealer looks at our bikes as an "also made". Their main income comes for sport bikes and the retro bikes. And they give less than 2 pennies about us.

Was that a "happy" thanks or a "Bummer, I was looking forward to a weekend with the guys...." thanks?
