Wow Becky That looks great! I LUV ghost flames! and the paint dude done a superb job on your tank! Question: Is that the original Triumph cardinal red on the overall color? (i know the GF's contain pearl) The reason for asking is it looks "candy" in the pic's? T

Terry - Its not the original Cardinal Red - couldn't get it (I tried even with the paint codes, could not get it locally). Then after all my paint anguish in trying to find a match, the painter said its a Candy Red..... its dang close to the original on the fenders tho.... And I'm happy with it! Becky

AFAIK the Cardinal Red really is a kind of candy.

Over here Piper, this has always been known as "Candy APPLE Red". It's a two or three step process, where the first coat sprayed is a silver-metalic tone, and then a mildly translucent red top coat is applied over it, giving the appearence of one of those Granny Smiths that's been dipped in that red cinnamon concoction.
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

That tank looks so good in person the pictures can't do it justice. Great color match and the flames are so muted they give the tank depth without being gaudy.
The quality of the tank matches the quality of the rider in this case. I would ride with her anywhere.
What Ron said....really looks good in person.
And maybe Becky will clean her bike more often now that she has a cherry paint job(just kidding Becky. It's not your fault every time I see you it's just after you've ridden in the rain and your bike looks like it hasn't been washed in a few months).
