I was doing a post with the same topig, but not with a question.
I've a 790 Speedmaster from less than 1 week, and have discovered that this bike has awesome mileage.
20km with one liter is near 47 miles per us gallon with a cruising style riding.
My Kawasaki ZRX does 23-25mpg (10-12km/l) and my previous '04 Sportster 1200 is in the middle 34-35mpg (15km/l).
