PES let's see, if I remember correctly you are referring to-

"In 1967, "98.6" hit Number seven; Uncle Sam came calling two years later, and Keith's number was up"

At the height of his career, Philadelphia-born singer Keith was making $15,000 a week and getting his back slapped by a Beatle, who told him what a great record Keith's 1967 Top Ten hit "98.6" was. "John Lennon was standing next to me in a urinal in London" he says. The nadir came just two years later when U.S. Army officials nabbed him for draft evasion in the middle of a concert tour: he was inducted and stationed for a year in New Jersey: "I was making coffee for Generals." When he got out, Keith did some independent recording and joined Frank Zappa's 1973 touring band, trying to inject some Philly soul into toilet-joke tunes like "Don't Eat the Yellow Snow." " I think they brought me in to commercialize Frank," says Keith.

For the last eleven years, Keith, who is thirty-six and has two children from a former marriage, has settled into a routine of tending bar for a living and playing local clubs in Los Angeles, drawing well thanks to frequent oldies airplay of "98.6" there. His Redondo Beach house is equipped with a sixteen-track studio, and he continues to put out records, alternately under the names Keith and Barry Keefer (his real name), "depending on which name didn't work the last time." "I've been discovered once," he declares. "I'm bucking the odds of doing it again."

Who am I kidding I wasn't even born yet, but Google is a wonderful thing!

98 days til the rally!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I'm still a pup compared to some of you. Take Tmax for instance. His first bike was steam powered....

Your first bike is older than I am! Of course, all those years of riding would explain why you can leave me behind on the twisties without even thinking about. What's realy sad is that your 16 year old son can ride circles around me. Of course, he is only 16 and still has about 15 more years riding experience than I do!

I can't wait to ride those twisty mountain roads! Somebody in the group is bound to be as slow as I am......

Highway 7 starts at Diamond City right by Bull Shoals Lake and gos all the way to the south end of Arkansas. We could if time permits go up 7 to Lost Valley which is in the Ozark national Forest and follows along the Buffalo River.
So far that road has some very steep climbs and very sharp turns,I took that route back in early May and it was well worth the trip down to Lost Valley.
We left Eureka Springs that day about 730 and rode all the way to Harrison down 7 to Lost Valley back out to 7 and then on to Hot Springs and we made there by 230 or so.
So many roads..so little time, but no matter which road we take it will be ****** fun!

Donny

Levi (Wyrm74) will be there and he loves "spooning" with grown men (not really, but he's weak, and you can over power him pretty easily). We'll loan him to you for the weekend, but be sure to clean him up some before you return him.

What happens in Arkansas stays in Arkansas!
