I'll room with Levi, but I'll have to get up to date on all of my vaccinations first. Will I have to go to a vet to get a rabies vaccination or can my regular doctor tqake care of that for me.

Just tried to book all combinations of queen bedrooms for the 7th and 8th, and no luck. I bet you have to book these "one of" places a year in advance.

Ok. I'm still waititng to hear back from several places in or around Mena. I have found an alternate location if anyone is interested. DeGray Lake state park has about 46 rooms available for $85 dollars a night. The lodge is pretty nice. We stayed there in 06 and we enjoyed it. It's just south of Hot Springs. This would be a completely different area than were looking at previously, but there should still be plenty of good roads! This is just an idea, so let's hear your thoughts. DeGray Lake State Park

Hey Guy's I just spoke with the Y city mountain inn folks and the will give a group rate of 40.00 per night to the Bonnevilleamerica.com triumph riders. The have 8-10 rooms availiable right now. If we decide to meet there and stay when calling to make your reservation Mention Bonnevilleamerica.com group ride and they will hook you up! So it's a decide if this is it and go with it thing. I'm good with it, We'll ride the Byway and go thru Mena and head for Y city then of to Mt Mag for Sat come back stay another night and head home or something like that. What ya think is it a plan? I didn't reserve any rooms at the time because we need feedback on the commitment but he said that they are booking cycle groups daily. O yea He was excited to hear we rode Triumphs. Let me know to book for you or make your own arrangements whatever works. T

Ok to bring everyone up to speed, Nathen and I have spoken to each other and have decided to make "Y" city Mountain Inn the offical meeting spot for Friday Sept. 7 & Sat. Sept.8 Link: http://www.ycitymountaininn.com/index.html Please make your own arrangements by calling 479-577-2489 and tell them that you are with the Bonnevilleamerica.com triumph riders for the group rate of $40.00 per night. The only thing he said he could not garranty is the avilability of smoking vs. non smoking rooms but had plenty of rooms available at this time. We are going to have a blast and as mentioned earlier Nathen and I will be there rain or shine so come join us for some mountain riding and beautiful scenery!

Danq tootin rain or shine. I talked to the reservation lady and she said those who come there like it and come back again. She said they get a lot of bikers plus there is a restaurant right up the road. Since the 8th is my birthday she gave me room with a bed I got on the phone with Angelis and he promised me he'd make his reservation within the next 10 minutes. Are we going to have a tech night and Ouachita Mtns BA.Com-shirts??? Brent are you listening?? Can you join us...ppplease.

Well, well, well. A fella goes on a rally for a few days and look at what the mice have been up to while the cat was away! For your information Nathen, my doctor says I am much better and those rashes should clear up in a matter of years! The voices in my head said he was a quack though, and we are fine as is, so I'm not worrying about it. Your big-bore envy is shining through sucka! I GUESS I can share a room with Nathen, I'll just put my earplugs in my nose and hope for the best. P.S. Nathen, I hope you got us a room with a view, it's so much more romantic...

Wyrm, if we're sharing a room you might want to save those ear plugs for you ears! I have a snore like a set of debaffled TORs! This sucks. We still have to wait another 3 1/2 months until the Rally! I want to go now!

Put me on the interest group. More than likely will be away working a hurricane but one never knows. Its only 500 miles from San Antonio so a real easy trip to make.
I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

Bob, It'll be really laid back. The idea is to give everyone a chance to meet other members and ride some great roads. We'll kick back, talk bikes, and tell lies! It should be a great chance to meet some new friends and enjoy the mountain twisties!

Bob, Richard from Choctaw, OK is going to try and come. Maybe we could meet in Henryetta or someplace if you decide to. This would be a good first Rally because it will not be real huge.

Hey Paul, That sounds like a good place to meet if I do go to the rally. I used to live near Henryetta (out in the sticks) for about 6 years. My sister still lives there--> (maybe a free meal?)
I am ordering some saddebags and a few other things for my bike. I haven't gone on any road trips yet so I don't know really what I will need. Maybe a good seat pad? and uh.. sufficiently large luggage? and rain gear? and a kitchen sink? Heck,I don't know my last bike was a '66 Honda 305 Dream that I tooled around St. Louis on.

UPDATED 5-26-07
I just made my reservations! so to kick off a sign up list Here goes....
1. Terry (Tmax) 2. Glyndon (my son) 3. Nathen (nuthin) 4. Paul (PES) 5. Fred (Angelis) 6. Levi (Wyrm74) 7. Richard (rwright)
To make things interesting I will buy the person that "rides" the farthest distance a full tank of Premium fuel ( brand of your choice) What a deal!!!!
Folks that expressed an interest so far......
Skip (BKG) Charlie (bad406) Dennis (skillet) Brent Eddy (eddy1016) Thorn(thorn1856) Ron (Saxtron) Bob (speedmasteroldguy) Jeff (loco) "freaky eye dude" Dale (roadtrip)
Ps. I placed Fred on the going list because Paul said he was??? I haven't heard a firm Reservations made from him. And remmember reservations will probably go soon so you may need to have an alternate last minute stay plan if you wait to long before commiting. You can always cancel if your world goes south at ride time!

Based on what the hotel told me, I would suggest reserving your room at Y city if you think there is any chance you can go. If you can't make it you can always cancel the room. I just don't want anyone to decide they can go only to learn the hotel is booked. The hotels in that area fill up quickly at that time of year. Lots of bikers, campers, and hunters head up there around that time of year.

Made my reservation today. You can put me on the confirmed list. Paul, Bob I can meet up with guys in Henryetta. Hey all, Y city told me they have two cabins reserved for the group so even if you're not in the cabins we'll at least have an area where we can kick back. The cabins have 2 doubles and sleeper sofa.
