Bobbed - as you likely know, jumping a bike battery with a car battery usually fries the bike battery.

Ladisney - At the risk of starting a debate similar to "which oil is best," kind of a thing, I wondered about this when I re-assembled my electricals - is it correct to use grease on the high amp side? I was taught (whether right or wrong) that nothing should get in the way of the metal to metal on the battery terminal connections, yet some non-conductive aerosol sealant sprayed around the outside of the terminals is fine.

FWIW, I did use some grease on the high amp connections, (except at the battery) and so far, all is well.
