I'm beginning to wonder if my original rotor was so warped that perhaps it bent the caliper bracket enough over time to interfere with the new floating rotor rivets? The rotor is also installed facing correctly. If installed backwards than the rivet collars would also come into contact with the bracket creating even more problems.
