Hey Gang,

Check out our new handcrafted leather low profile seats. I've posted several pics in our gallery as well as on the site.

Let me know what you think...

We have a few sets in stock now and I have the feeling that many more will need to be made right away. In fact, I told my Pop he'll have to wait on his because of the limited initial supply.

I have one of these seats offered by newspeedmaster. What a great ride and feel. Sitting almost 3" lower really makes a difference. I like the look and feel of a low slung custom bike, and this seat hits the mark.

How much padding is in this seat. I have a stock Speedmaster seat now and I have been thinking about buying a Triumph solo seat, but I've heard they aren't as comfortable as the gunfighter seat. I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons of 1.) buy a solo seat, 2.) have my seat modified to accomodate a passenger, or 3.) leave it as it is.

Tonight I took the seat off and sat on the bike without any seat. I had only an old bath towel folded up under my butt. It actually put the top of my Triumph summer shield at about eye level. Just right. I could live with that. I dont' know if I could do 400 miles with little or no padding.

What to do? What to do?

John

Brent, you always seem to come up with the perfect accessories for our bikes. Can you post a picture of the pillion seat at a higher angle looking down. How does the pillion compare to the stock one as far as comfort. I have been considering a corbin or Saddlemen seat, yours look much better. ... Ride safe.... Gordon
P.S. any news on the chrome cable loops, my zip tie has about had it

Hey Gordon - I've added a pic to my gallery that has a more downward angle showing the pillion. As far as pillion comfort, that's hard for me to say. My pad came off about 20 minutes after my bike got home from the dealer's. But I sat on the pad for just a second and it felt fine.

Hey John - The seat has a nice amount of padding. I only have 17 miles on the seat so far but it's immediately apparent that this thing is MUCH more comfortable than the stock seat. Because of the low slung curve of the seat, it actually feels like your rump is held snug in the seat like you're a part of the bike.

I need to start saving my pennies. That seat with a bobbed rear would look sweeeeet!
