Oh H#ll yeah! I'm in. Any riders traveling eastward to get there let me know if you want to meet up and roll in together. There are some great MA back road twisters eastbound and south of the pike from the NY border over to Oxford. I'm figuring to leave the NW CT at around 8:00 or 9:00 am or so, and could meet up along the way, etc. I have room for camping, camp fire, and amenities etc., at my NW CT location if a Saturday meet up & BBQ / then ride out Sunday is of interest.

Just looked at that on streets 98 it will take me through Woooster (bad Idea). Need to rethink.
Ooops not wooooster ...wedsta (man I need to quit drinking after dinner).

If you all meet a guy on a Daytona named Ken Robinson, say hi for me!!
If the weather looks good, I may try to make it. Maybe that can be our tech day too?

A decent event, I attended last year. Even found a few bits & pieces for the old Norton. Unfortunately I have a nephew's graduation party that day, but maybe I can sneak in quick visit to the show first.I'm only a couple towns over from Oxford. The hill climb sounds good too, but,....35th wedding anniversary that day. Hopefully I'll catch up to some of you folks one day.

Note too there is a trophy class for 1990 & later Hinckley Triumphs.
Some of the spit & polish bikes 'round here probably have a good shot at it.

Heres the link to quabaug riders, thier scheule shows monthly motor clyce hill climbs. havnt been to one of these things since I was a kid, If the one on the 20th turns out to be worth watching i may go up again, Also if you follow some of the links in there, seems there are a few climbs around Mass, One in greenfield looks interesting.

Jack,
After 3,000 miles plus I'm not to interested in a winding route to the swap meet, but would like to go.
Let's hookup and make a direct route run, Worchester is not to bad on Sat. morning.

And to The British Iron meet in Oxford on the 27th. Would be happy to meet up with you for either one or both of these.
LJ3000 is trying to get somthing going for the 27th, leaveing from his neck of the woods, I'm to far on the "Wrong side of the river" for that.
geeze ATG started this thread whats she got to say?
I'm going riding now.

Just a guess as I've never been there, but I have the perception that the site isn't so large that we all won't see one another once we get there. Combine that with cell phones, and we should be able to meet up.
My tentative plan for the Holiday traffic scenario is to run something like 23 or 57 or 20 etc. east bound, which offers a long series of back roads, then probably run the MA pike back West after the show. That reminds me - I should order a motorcycle specific EZ Pass. They apparently don't like me using the car's transponder, even though that gives them an extra dollar or whatever.

It looks like I'll be coming in from 146 to the Central Turnpike....I don't know that area in any detail....I wonder if there's a Dunkin' Donuts anywhere before the R &G Club where we can all meet up....let me do some investigating....Would you CT folks be coming in from rte 12 or rte 20?

geezer in deed...I think you are just looking for a way to get a little extra beuty rest.
But seriously. I was just looking at the maps.Farther then I thought, will be covering about 70 miles of secondary road. Through several small towns.Soooo being a geezer first class. And the Mrs being no spring chicken. I cant realy roll out any earlier than 9:00, so I think realisticly, I could be there no earlier than 10:30-10:45.
John you got an extra 20-25 miles to get to me, Not much but Middletown could slow you down. Is meeting In East Hampton at around 8:45 a good time for you?

Jack, et. al.: 10:30-10:45 suits me just fine. With that extra 30 minutes of beauty rest, I'll be positively glowing. This is for the 27th in Oxford, right?
John, will Linda be on her own bike? Does she have a bike angel pin and a gremlin bell? I've got a couple of extras if she doesn't have these necessities yet.

Yeah John I still want to go to the hill climb In munson on the 20th, You are right munson would only be about an hour ride, Long range weather says Sunday the 20th looks good. Question is do you want to have breakfast somplace or just ride straight through. Either one would be fine with me.
