There are plenty of great places to get parts if you don't mind mail order.....
Team Triumph in Wisconsin treated my wife well. Great Bay has a good rep. Try Machines in Motion in Cumming, GA. Myra is knowledgeable and very personable.

Also try Palm Beach Triumph/Ducati. I have gotten parts mucho fast from them in the past. Sounds like your stealer is just that...a stealer. Run away run away!
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

Depends. If I'm buying a factory accessory or bit of gear, I just find the best deal at places like mascycles.com, etc. For custom bits I check newspeedmaster.com and bellacorse. If I'm ordering hard parts, say like valves or a head gasket, I tend to go to bikebandit.com, since I can get real specific with part numbers and order right off the microfiche. Of course, it takes forever to get parts from them, but I have yet to find a Triumph dealership that stocks parts like these. At least when the box gets here from BikeBandit.com it's all there and I'm good to go.

Brent "Newspeedmaster" is quick for delivery especially to the UK and the quality is brilliant.

As far as quality they just order it from the factory like any dealership would, as far as I know. It's not like they're making anything themselves. Last time I ordered parts I think it was about two weeks (intake manifold rubber boots). I'm about a week and a half into waiting for the current order. Their site still says everything is on order, presumably direct from Triumph.

I guess I am extremely fortunate with my dealer. They know their stuff and if I ask them to order something, they do it without any problems. Not to mention they are just good people too.

I haven't really talked to my dealer in almost 2 years. It always seemed like such a hassle to order things from them. It's just easier to do it online. And cheaper, since my dealer passes along the shipping costs AND his healthy mark up. Please...
