In three years of owning my America, I have only passed 4, no, 5 other Triumphs...a T100, Rocket, Speedtriple (twice) and an Adventure. I would probably pass out if I actually ran across another America or Speedmaster on the open road. 
However, I have heard 1,000+ times "I thought that was a Triumph...I (or relative) had one of the years ago...it was great...that sure is a beautiful machine...etc...etc." You can't be a shy one and own a Triumph!
