I am one of the said newbies- though not new to riding entirely- but mostly- though definitely new to Triumph ownership! What exactly is a bike blessing? I've read about those online these past few days but haven't gotten a good definition?!?!

Weeeell, you see it goes like this here. You get a bunch 'o beer, preferrably the dark kind (I used Newcastle Brown), and go over your bike end to end, washin' an' waxin'. The whole time sayin' things like, "Damnn that's a nice bike!" Play some appropriate loud music, like Motorhead 'Iron Horse', Hawkwind 'Silver Machine', of course 'Born to be Wild', even Blondie's 'Bike Boy' if your feelin' punkish. Then invite your friends over, drink more beer, check out the bike and say things like, "Damnn that's a nice bike." This can be a good time to name your bike. Continue until you pass out, get up the next afternoon and go for a long ride (several tankfuls) to clear your head.
