Uncle Charlie, that's not far from where we'll be. Anyone staying around Eisenhower Drive in Hanover, we can probably walk to any number of restaurants & bars on Friday & Saturday nights after the bike is put away for the day. Any suggestions?

I think that is about all in walking distance from the hotel

Sure wish I could make it. Family duties to attend - the graduation / 18th birthday party of my 'fourth daughter' - my niece.
Quick Katharine story - I took her skiing along with my kids years ago. I stopped along the trail waiting for the kids to catch up, and my niece, then around age 8 or 9, decides to take a mighty jump. She plants her face, with goggles, hat & skis torn off, and enough snow down her coat to fill a small wheel barrow. So I'm thinking, hoo boy, here we go - waterworks time. Nope. She gets up laughing and says delightedly "Did you see how much air I got?" First thought: "I like this kid."
Enjoy the Rally - looks like perfect weather for y'all Sat & Sun

Jeff,
I’ve been trying to get an answer from the guys if they are going or not. If they go I’m heading up on Sunday. If not I’ll probably try to hook up with you on Saturday morning. What time are you heading out? I’ll know by late today which day I’m going….

Thinking about taking 15 via Leesburg up to Frederick, then 194 to Hanover tomorrow if the weather is accomdating. How's 15-194 past Leesburg, anyone know?

15 from leesburg to 340 can be slow caused by traffic, though it is a nice road. from where 15 meets 340 it is all highway untill 194. but you have to take the rt26 exit from 15, 194 does not actually connect to 15. it ends at 26 , but you do not have to turn off to stay on 194. you have to turn to stay on 26. just keep to your left as you cross the new bridge next to the older steel bridge. 194 is not bad sometimes straight and boring , but I drive it 2 times a day. And remember after you cross into PA , the first town is Littlestown. Go the speed limit , they are nationally known for the amount of tickets they right.

Thanks Pete, Looks like a nice day trip weather permitting. Plan to head directly to KClingers (never been) for when it opens (12:00). Have to try a beer made by this guy: Hit the event for a few hours, drink a different beer made by my obvious Polish brother: and head back. Regards, Tom

Had a really enjoyable day. I hooked up with Jeff and 2 others for the ride out of Baltimore. Beautiful ride to T.C.H. Met up with Pete and met a few of our northern members from the site (nice guys). Hopefully we will get to ride together one day. When we left, we originally headed out to hit the Union Hotel but decided to hit the Honfest (street festival in Baltimore) to have a few cold ones before heading back home. All in all a good day. Hope evyone there made it home ok....

It was a fun time! Lots of great bikes. Got to meet Uncle Charlie and Geoff, good guys. Also got to ride my friend's Honda 599 which was a blast, and a Rocket demo. I won't be buying a Rocket any time soon...

Since the GA rally is in May and the Noreast rally is in Sept. The half way point between the two is July, so I guess we will see you next month....
