Well, I guess what I'm looking for is a fairly close shot of the sissy bar/luggage rack bracket and the bolts that the Easy Brackets posts will replace. It seems the problem is that the recess in the rear bracket hole where bolt sits is too deep for the rear Easy Bracket post. The shoulders of the Easy Bracket posts tighten against & mar the chrome on the bracket and don't set square with the front one.
And while I don't really care why mine would be different than everyone else's, I'm looking for a comparative shot to go back to the dealer with so I can get it made right.
In the mean time, I'm using some nylon spacers in the bolt recesses so I can use the darn things (which isn't a bad solution if I get tired of my pursuit of justice
).
