As for the move .. things are moving on quickly ...
Three people viewed the house yesterday (Tuesday) and two of 'em want it.
The last person (absolutely lovely woman but mad as a bag of hammers!!) was at the agents first thing to put dibs on it.
The agent has now gone from:
" .. sorry Mr Lloyd but you're contracted 'til 22 August .. " to
" .. we're now waiting for you to give us a move out date so that we can proceed .. "
Like I'm holding everything up!!!
Anywho, the house I'm moving to was, I'm told, vacated on Monday of this week.
My mate, who owns it, comes back from his villa in Spain on Friday so, as of Monday, I can officially start moving in.
All things being equal, I could be in by 22 July - when the other people could take over the tenancy of this place ..
As for the party, you'll have to ring to doorbell with your elbow ... 'cause you'll all have your hands full, yeah???
